Hamid Reza Behzadian<\/h1>\n

Hamid Reza Behzadian is een muzikant met Iraanse roots, die zich heeft ontwikkeld tot slide gitarist en harmonicaspeler in verschillende muziekstijlen. Zijn muziek kenmerkt zich door de invloeden van zijn Perzische roots, melodie\u00ebn uit het Midden-Oosten en zijn eerste inspiratiebron, de Amerikaanse Blues.<\/p>\n

Kennismaking met de Indiase slide gitaar bracht hem op het pad van Indiase klassieke muziek en daarin is hij cum laude afgestudeerd aan het Codarts conservatorium in Rotterdam in 2022. In samenwerking met verschillende muzikanten en in zijn solo-programma brengt hij een muzikale reis ten gehore waarbij hij tradities van oost en west met elkaar verbindt.<\/p>\n

Ook dit jaar hebben we weer poezie in de kerk. Onder leiding van Stadsdichter Najiba Abdelhoui<\/a><\/strong> wordt hier gespeeld met woorden en gedachten.<\/p>\n

Als klein meisje was Najiba al helemaal gek op lezen. Zo was op school het voorleesuurtje haar favoriet en toen ze 12 was, ontdekte ze hiphop dankzij haar zus. De muziek, ritmes en coole teksten maakte haar zo enthousiast, dat ze zelf begon met het schrijven van rapteksten. Later schreef ze gedichten en droeg ze deze voor op verschillende podia. Daar is het begin met Spoken Word ontstaan.\u00a0Nu schrijft Najiba kinderboeken, gedichten, geeft ze workshops aan kinderen en jongeren en maakt ze overal een creatief feestje van!<\/p>\n

Soundsystem UnitedSounds is een Roots & Culture Reggae Dancehall SoundSystem uit Tilburg. UnitedSounds is ontstaan in 1993 en de foundation word gevormd door Taki en RasDr\u00e9.
RasDr\u00e9 & Taki zijn de MC, DJ & Selekters, die hun scherpe reggae selectie, afwisselen met opzwepende dancehall & dubplates. In 2020 kwam Bartje JahSoldier het United Sounds team versterken. Soundsystem UnitedSounds is o.a bekend van hun shows samen met Kenny B, en optredens op de grote (reggae) festivals zoals, Two Seven Splash, Reggae Sundance, Zwarte Cross, Festival Mundial & Lowlands. Ook spelen ze met regelmaat als supportact bij reggae concerten in zalen zoals Paradiso, Nightown, Effenaar, 013, Doornroosje, Paard, Melkweg, Tivoli.
Met hun liefde voor Reggae Muziek & Jamaicaanse Cultuur en hun sterke samenwerking spelen ze al 30 jaar op vele locaties \/ festivals, nationaal en internationaal.<\/p>\n
